Fall cooking is not just for the humans in my household. I love to make my fur-children yummy snacks too! Especially with whole and healthy ingredients. They love them so much more than anything I give them from a package and I’m a sucker for their pleading eyes and wagging tails. I’m sure you are too!

Ingredients
  1. 2.5 cups cooked quinoa (1 c. dry)
  2. 1 cup applesauce (I used a homemade applesauce by putting sliced apples and some lemon juice in the crockpot on low for 8 hours, but use whatever you'd like)
  3. 3/4 cup peanut butter
  4. 2 flax eggs or 2 regular eggs
  5. Cooking spray
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 250
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl until combined
  3. Scoop in tablespoonfuls into greased mini muffin pans
  4. Bake for 2.5 - 3 hours or until the treats are nearly dehydrated (this helps them stay together better)
  5. Cool and watch your dogs drool!
Notes
  1. You can easily substitute the applesauce for pumpkin puree!
