Taco dip! This recipe is the fastest recipe to make and is a crowd-pleaser every time. It is my go-to appetizer for a large crowd. I’ve never had anyone tell me they don’t like this taco dip. All you need is 5 or 6 ingredients and 5 minutes! I serve this dip cold so no cooking involved. Serve it with some sturdy tortilla chips, or a big bag of the big scoopy corn chips. Get your can opener and mixing bowl ready!

  1. 1 large can refried beans (fat free or vegetarian)
  2. 1 large container sour cream (reduced fat is OK)
  3. 1 packet taco seasoning
  4. 1.5 C. shredded cheddar cheese
  5. 1 bunch green onion, sliced (optional)
  6. 1 can sliced black olives, drained (optional)
  1. In a mixing bowl, mix the sour cream and taco seasoning together and set aside
  2. In a 9x13 glass or foil baking dish, spread the refried beans in an even layer
  3. Top the bean layer with the sour cream/taco seasoning mixture, layering evenly
  4. Sprinkle cheese on top of the sour cream layer evenly
  5. Top with green onion and olives for flavor and color (only if you want to)
  6. Serve with tortilla or corn chips
